What is a design-build service?
Our design-build service is a 5-step process that lets us expertly guide you through a residential remodel or new home construction design project from start to finish.
This service works well with all varieties of design projects, such as single-room and entire home remodeling projects.
Your remodeling project is nearly effortless with the Hampton Kitchen design team by your side and fully assisting you (as much or as little as you prefer).

Our 5-Step Process
Step 1: Discover
Meet our design team virtually, in our showroom by private appointment, or in your home to discuss your vision to discover how we can transform any area of your home into a gorgeously updated and functional space perfectly customized to meet your household’s unique needs and preferences.
In Step 1, you will share your building plans (if you have them), photos, rough general measurements, basic needs, and any requirements with us so that we may understand the scope of your project. Tell us what you want, and we will help you get there.
We will ask many questions as we gather data to provide you with a preliminary estimate for the project. We will review the estimate with you and discuss feasibility. If desired, alternative options are available so that you feel confident moving forward with Hampton Kitchens as your partner.
While gathering project-related information, we are also getting to know one another. We must develop trust during this stage so that you have a positive experience throughout the entire process. Let’s face it, the kitchen is the heart of the home, and the other rooms are equally memorable. We know how important your home is to you and your family.
Note: Virtual and showroom consultations are complimentary, while in-home consultations are fee-based and limited to 1.5 hours on-site.

Step 2: Curate
A Design Retainer Agreement is executed to proceed with designing and planning your project.
We will gather site measurements and note existing conditions if you are remodeling.
If your project is new construction, we will work from your house plans and confirm measurements during the framing stage of your new home. We gladly welcome the opportunity to work with new builders.
Our secure project portal will let you track your project from start to finish. We will help you make selections (either on your behalf or alongside you based on your preference ) within our scope of work to guide the design process further and protect the project budget to meet your specifications. Our collaborative design team will provide conceptual design and 3-dimensional drawings.
Next, we arrange visits to the project site by engineers and other service providers to ensure code compliance and, if needed, project feasibility. Our team discusses revisions to plans and makes all final adjustments to deliver a gorgeous new kitchen that you will enjoy for many years.
Step 3: Evolve
Once the design has passed our quality checks and is as close to perfection as possible, we submit your contract for final approval. This is when you can sit back and relax for a bit. You’ve done a lot of work so far, and now it’s up to us at Hampton Kitchens to bring it all together for you. We treat all of our projects like they are our own. We triple-check the orders and line up all necessary resources to have this project come together seamlessly.
Step 4: Construct
Quite often, the most exciting part of our process is when you finally get to see all the puzzle pieces come together. This is where the creative process, project planning, and paperwork become tangible. We bring to life the functional and luxurious living space you originally intended. Our easy-to-use software gives you direct access to schedules, files, progress photos, and more. We encourage our clients to engage with us throughout the process.
Hampton Kitchens performs the following to implement your project:
Order all equipment and materials
If included and required, file all permits
Provide a preliminary schedule based on the delivery of products ordered
Incorporate warranties that are commensurate with all products and services
Step 5: Enjoy

Build
To balance your daily life activities and home renovation project, we provide you with a structured construction schedule showing when the work begins and ends each day. This schedule ensures the timely completion of projects and peace of mind that you know what to expect and when it will occur.
At the project end, our craftsmen ensure that your newly remodeled area is free of debris and thoroughly clean to help your family stay safe and ensure that the entire design-build service is truly completed brilliantly.
